Review: Luxury Lush Pud

Cute, colourful and Christmassy. What more could you want from a Lush bath bomb?

If you’re looking for a Lush Christmas classic that delivers big on the wow factor, the Luxury Lush Pud is the bath bomb for you. The Luxury Lush Pud is the perfect bath bomb to give as part of a gift, it will definitely impress your giftee, who will love the soft Lavender and ylang ylang scent of twilight. It’s a very relaxing scent and will calm your nerves and soothe your senses after a tough day at work.

It’s also one of the prettiest bath bombs to look at. it’s got a little sprig of holly (or is it mistletoe?) on the top which gives it that magical Christmas touch.

Half the bath bomb is white, the other half a bright pink. In both halves there’s little circles of fun, in green and blue and purple. There’s also splashes of orange on the bath bomb, so it’s truly a multi-coloured wonder.

  When you drop it in the bath it’s supposed to look like the below (taken from the Lush website), but uhhhh… mine definitely didn’t turn out like this!

After the top layer cleared it finished off like this.

The photos make it look quite orange, but in reality the water was more of a dark pink. That said, I actually think the orange above is really nice and I would love to see a bath bomb create this colour! The Luxury Lush Pud has a little bit of a shimmer to it but nothing crazy. I found that it didn’t really leave much glitter on my skin, but it did make the water look super pretty.

From my experience, it is an incredible bath bomb. The smell is heavenly, it has a lot of cool effects in the water, and the overall look is stunning. With a lot of the Lush bath products, I find that they also have a lot of moisturising benefits, and this is definitely another skin-pleaser. My skin was left soft and smooth, plus the scent lingers on the skin which is very pleasant, particularly if you use the bath bomb before bed, as you end up wrapped in the scent of lavender which is very relaxing.

If I had to rate this bath bomb I would definitely give it five out of five candy canes!
