Mirror mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all?
Snow White… or So White? Meet the So White bath bomb by Lush, an all-white bath bomb with a hidden surprise inside.
This bath bomb will cost you $6.95AUD. It’s a fairly reasonable price for what you get, which is a bath bomb roughly the size of your fist. So White is part of the Lush Christmas collection and had a delicate, crisp fragrance that’s reminiscent of rose and orange flower.
From the outside, the bath bomb usually looks like this. It’s completely white as you can see.
My one got cracked at some point before I used it, so the inside wasn’t quite as much of a surprise.
I actually think it looks pretty cool even cracked. The inside is a dark rosy pink.
When you drop it into the bath it doesn’t really do too much. I’ve been having this problem with a few of the Lush bath bombs lately, they just don’t seem to want to dissolve for some reason.
It is a fairly boring bath bomb, nothing goes crazy and the water doesn’t magically start turning a million different colours. This bath bomb also doesn’t have any glitter so it won’t make you sparkly. Of all the Lush bath bombs I’ve tried this is probably one of the most average ones in terms of what it does in the water.
The water turns a dusty rose colour which is very pretty. It’s not a crazy colour and it’s quite opaque, but it’s one of those bath bombs that doesn’t do too much. Lots of Lush products have fun features or a ton of glitter which makes your baths more exciting. This product isn’t one of those. It’s simple – in a good way.
That said, it smells incredible, it’s a very delicate scent that is very relaxing and not at all overpowering. Rose is definitely the core scent in this bath bomb and it’s very pleasant. Despite the fact that this bath bomb is a bit average in many of its features, it’s still a lovely experience and is one I will most likely be purchasing again.
How would I rate it?
